ProVision are one of the UK's leading equipment hire companies, providing Cameras, Lighting, Grips and Sound to the Television and Film industry. Wholly owned by ITV and with bases in Leeds, London and Manchester we are looking to recruit a Technical Assistant to be based in our Leeds operation.

We are currently looking for a Technical Assistant to support us in providing a high standard of service to our ProVision clients. You will prepare, maintain and control all technical equipment stock, ensuring all assets are tracked using the ProVision tracking software. Negotiating and providing quotations, you will offer technical advice and solutions to our diverse client base. You will also support with deliveries, shipping and logistics; loading and unloading of equipment as required as well as bookings and contract management.

As a Technical Assistant, you will have an advanced understanding of the theoretical and working knowledge of video and audio standards. With an ability to follow system diagrams, you will be able to accurately fault find and and provide technical solutions. With your good communication skills, you will be confident in dealing effectively with all levels of staff and management. You will also be computer literate with a high level of numerical skills. Due to the nature of the role, you will potentially be required to work across our other sites and outside of office hours to include weekends and bank holidays.
