ITV has ordered a new six-part mystery thriller set far from home, set in Australia starring Sheridan Smith.

Two Birds has been written by Helen FitzGerald (who wrote novel The Cry, which was later adapted into a BBC drama starring and is a co-production between ITV and Stan.
