About

Founded in 2009 by BAFTA-winning producer Rupert Lloyd, Noor Pictures is an independent film and television company with an international outlook.

Noor's debut feature film THEEB premiered at the 71st Venice Film Festival in 2014 and went on to win 23 awards internationally, culminating in nominations for a BAFTA and an Academy Award® in the Foreign Language category, and winning a BAFTA in the Outstanding Debut category.

Noor currently has projects in development with Academy Award Nominee® Naji Abu Nowar at Film4 and BBC Films. He is also developing films with BAFTA Nominee writer/director Billy Lumby at BBC Films and Fantastic Fest's New Wave winner Nikias Chryssos.
