HanWay Films has established itself as a successful and respected international sales, distribution and
marketing company specialising in high-profile quality films. It was founded in 1998 by Jeremy
Thomas (chairman), PeterWatson (deputy chairman) and Stephan Mallmann (chief operating officer),
who continue to sit on the board.

Tim Haslam (chief executive officer), previously of Intermedia and Majestic Films, joined the
company in 2003.

HanWay Films arranges financing, sales and distribution for all films from Jeremy Thomas's
Recorded Picture Company (RPC) and third-party producers and directors. Forthcoming productions
include David Cronenberg's The Talking Cure; Nature, a film based on Charles Darwin, by Jon
Amiel; The Boys Are Back in Town starring Clive Owen; and Eddie the Eagle, starring
Steve Coogan.

Most recent productions include Gerald McMorrow's Franklyn, starring Ryan Phillippe, Sam Riley and Eva
Green; Julian Jarrold's Brideshead Revisited, starring Emma Thompson; Michael Winterbottom's Genova;
and Sunshine Cleaning, starring Amy Adams and Emily Blunt.

The company has also enjoyed recent success with Julian Jarrold's Becoming Jane, Sarah Polley's
multi-Academy Award nominee® Away From Her and Woody Allen's international box office hit
Match Point.

HanWay Films represents collections from the BFI, Merchant Ivory, Peter Weir, Wim Wenders, Jean
Doumanian and Recorded Picture Company, which include over 500 feature films from many of the
world's greatest filmmakers.
