YouTube Channel Researcher (Coffee)

An exciting opportunity to work directly with one of our clients, James Hoffmann.

Hoffmann Industries is looking for a talented individual to join their small team; someone to support the research, development and pre-production of YouTube content.

*You are not required to be on camera for this role - this is an office based role.*

We are looking for experienced individuals to join the team and make an immediate impact.

Applicants should have experience with self-starting projects and be used to working in a collaborative environment; each member of the team is responsible for maintaining their own workload and priorities to keep up with the regular production and delivery schedule. Taking the initiative in this role is a must.

The role of the Researcher includes tasks such as:
- Detailed research on video concepts and providing fact-checked information that is accurate to be included/referenced in the final YouTube video. Collecting and collating coffee knowledge based on the current video ideas in production for the channel.
- Data collection and analysis (e.g. this could look like product testing for review videos, carrying out the same controlled brew method across 5 different products and logging the results).

Essential requirements are:
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in fact-ent research, development or pre-production roles. The applicant needs to have a demonstrable understanding of how to safely frame information, findings and opinions for fair broadcast.
- The ability to be capable in research methodologies and data collection techniques. i.e. confident with replicating coffee-brewing methods in a controlled way, measuring variables and accurately tracking results with spreadsheets.
- Must be a coffee drinker - please reference any barista experience if applicable.
- Educated to degree level or higher.
- Analytical skills, organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrable experience in factual research and some experience in data collection methods.
- Ability to work independently and use your expertise to collaborate with a small team.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. For this role you will be required to work in the London based studio at West Hackney/Lower Clapton.

Expected start date: Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Job Types: Part Time, Contract, approximately 3 days per week. Possibility: this could increase.
