Social Video Content Creator

THE ROLE.
We're looking for a social media obsessed content creator with experience in VFX, animation, media or technology to join our Brand and Content team. In this role you'll be responsible for the end-to-end creation of social video content, from ideating to developing, to producing and analysing.

You'll work alongside our in-house marketing teams, including Brand and Content, Industry and Product Marketing as well as external partners and influencers to make social-first video content relevant to our content calendar of customer stories, product releases, go-to-market plans and industry moments. The aim? Assert Foundry's authority as the unequivocal leader across VFX and animation, encourage product adoption, and support artists around the world in our growing online communities, from hobbyists to Hollywood.

To be successful in this role you'll be an experienced video content creator with reels of initiative and a genuine passion for our industry. You'll display a deep understanding of platform needs and trends, with the confidence to make recommendations and the ability and attitude to drive ideas forward into reality.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES.
Own the end-to-end process of delivering imagery and video content designed for Foundry social media channels including (where necessary) ideation, scripting, storyboarding, production, editing and analysis
Work closely with PR and Content Executive and wider Brand and Content team to generate content ideas, using experience and initiative to move these forward into production and distribution
Collaborate with Community & Influencer Marketing Executive to identify and create content to help engage new and existing visitors to our various online communities
Make recommendations based on channel-specific trends and new features, as well as additional platforms to move into
Capture platform-specific video and edit to produce high-quality engaging content
Work with Senior Graphic Designer and Senior Copywriter to brief and manage graphic visuals and copy requirements for social media channels
Work alongside PR and Content Executive and Industry Marketing team to identify and manage social content partnership opportunities with customers, content creators, and press
Experiment with new formats to nurture and encourage engagement from our online communities, and be head and shoulders above our competitors
Analyse content performance across each platform to recommend continual improvements and learnings
Requirements
3+ years' experience with video, capturing footage through mobile and cameras: content creation across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok (we'd love to see examples of your work)
Proven experience in Adobe Creative Suite and editing software such as Premiere and After Effects for motion graphics
Have a sixth sense for upcoming social trends and the creativity to make these relevant to Foundry and its products
Ability to shoot high-quality content remotely, from the office and on location (equipment provided)
Experience selecting and working with freelancers and third parties to deliver shoot content, where necessary
Extremely organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to deliver a high volume of content quickly, without compromising quality
Confidence and enthusiasm to research and share ideas within the team
Understanding of the relevant metrics to measure success and improve performance
Great communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to confidently pitch creative ideas and take feedback
