Our aspiration is to be the most personal luxury shopping site in the world.We are now looking for a Senior Videographer who has a proven track record in the social space and an understanding of the luxury fashion landscape. This is a super exciting role helping to pave the way for MATCHES new future.THE ROLE:You are an absolute expert in all things video from concepting, capturing, editing, to posting and everything in between. You can create content on everything from a lofi iPhone to a polished camera.You are completely well-versed in all things TikTok and Instagram, including trends, audio, and filters.You are officially part of the Social Team and will be working with them on their strategy, content franchises and channel development.You will also be a key collaborator with the other creative functions: design, fashion, editorial on bigger/ broader pieces of content for MATCHES.You will also be working with marketing and brand partnerships teams for paid activity and paid-for projects with our endemic brands.RESPONSIBILITIES:Video direction, capture and editing across platforms [excluding ecommerce product display page video]Generating ideas that enhance broader campaigns and finding entry points into channels that blend MATCHES and our partner brands worlds.Developing new content franchises with the social team and giving realistic viewpoints on what is scalable and affordable.Posting content when appropriate.Presenting ideas and ensuring teams are taken on the creative journey.Inspiring the teams around you.Content capture for centralised MATCHES monthly shoot streams [may require travel]Amending/ re-editing content after feedback sessions [we have established agency workflow and processes in place]Managing lighting, kit hire etc.Maintaining awareness of creative work done by competitors, and market/tech developments and cultural trends in relation to the accounts being worked on to ensure campaigns are unique.SKILLS:Confident and able to present.Management experienceGreat communication skillsCurious about luxury fashion trendsInterested in culture and what makes people tick.Basic understanding of all key editing software, motion graphics capability etcA Social first mindset and understanding of the digital and physical creative market.Ability to create incredible content within social apps.Ability to solve creative and commercial business problemsTime management skills.Tenacious and resilient - consider feedback objectively, bounce back from criticism of their ideas, and continue working on the brief with enthusiasm to find new solutions.Working well under the pressure of tight budgets and deadlines on multiple projects, while still maintaining rapport with the team and the client.Good at coming up with ideas (and it does not matter if they are introverted or extroverted) under time pressure.Commercially aware to ensure we're driving profitability for the brand.Creatively curious: questioning briefs, finding new mediums, assessing the competition and bold in your thinking and ideation.Courageous in putting forward their ideas and challenging others.Endlessly curious about culture and what makes people tick.An ability to deal with ambiguity and time pressure.** PLEASE SHARE LINKS to 3 SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEOS YOU HAVE CREATED AND EDITED**BENEFITS34 days' holiday including bank holidays - and you're free to choose when you take your bank holiday daysOption to buy 5 additional holiday daysAdditional day off for your birthdayHybrid working environment, with flexible working around core hoursTraining budgetCharity & learning days off50% employee discount on most brands and products in our websiteAccess to Health Cash Plan, including dental, glasses and contact lenses, physiotherapy and more
