Midweight Videographer, Studios

Manchester

THG Studios is looking for a talented Midweight Videographer to join our Video team on a fixed term contract, dedicated exclusively to Disney Store content.

You'll be responsible for producing high-quality video lifestyle assets for social and web, helping bring Disney products and storytelling to life through engaging, platform-first content. Working across a variety of shoots, you'll play a key role in delivering visually compelling, brand-aligned content - from short-form social videos to always-on e-commerce and campaign support assets. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a globally recognised brand, contributing to creative output that connects with audiences across multiple platforms.

About You
* You're a confident and capable videographer with a strong foundation in both the craft and technical aspects of production.
* You enjoy being hands-on - shooting, lighting and problem-solving on set - and are comfortable working across a range of environments, from studio setups to lifestyle shoots.
* You have a good eye for composition, storytelling and social-first content, and are always looking to improve creative output.
* While primarily focused on shooting, you may also bring experience in generating creative ideas and editing content, with an awareness of what performs well across platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
* You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working collaboratively with producers, creatives and wider teams to deliver high-quality work efficiently.

Main Activities and Tasks
* Shooting high-quality video content for Disney Store across social and web channels.
* Lighting scenes effectively across product, lifestyle and talent-led shoots.
* Supporting pre-production planning including input on shot lists and setups.
* Operating camera and lighting equipment with confidence across varied scenarios.
* Capturing content optimised for platform-specific formats (e.g. vertical, short-form).
* Assisting in directing talent and contributors on set where required.
* Collaborating with Producers and Creative teams to deliver against briefs.
* Contributing ideas for video content where appropriate, particularly for social.
* Editing video content (where required), ensuring outputs meet brand and platform standards.
* Supporting the production of TikTok and live content where needed (desirable).
* Maintaining equipment and ensuring best practices on set.
* Working efficiently across multiple shoots and deadlines.

What We Look For in Our Team
* A passion for creativity and storytelling through video.
* A collaborative, team-first mindset.
* Proactive attitude with a desire to improve output and processes.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in craft.
* Positive energy and willingness to contribute ideas.
* Adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements
* 2-4 years' experience in video production.
* Strong technical knowledge of camera, lighting and basic audio setups.
* Confident operating a range of professional camera equipment.
* Good understanding of lighting for product and lifestyle content.
* Experience shooting content for social platforms and digital channels.
* Basic to intermediate editing skills (e.g. Premiere Pro or similar).
* An eye for composition, pacing and storytelling.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work across multiple projects and deadlines.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders.
* Experience working in a studio and/or on location.

Desirable:
* Experience contributing to creative concepts or ideation.
* Experience shooting or supporting TikTok Live / live content.
* Understanding of current social video trends and formats.
