Reporting toHead of Commercial VideoLocationLeicester Square, LondonJob DescriptionGlobal's Online Video department produces content for our award-winning websites and radio brands.We are looking for a Senior Producer who will report into our Head of Commercial Video and work alongside a talented team of Content Producers to help our brands and commercial partners make great content for Global.As Senior Producer you will be responsible for producing a high volume of projects, and shepherding them through both editorially and commercially from initial brief to completion, managing all aspects of the production process from treatments and storyboards, hiring in appropriate freelance staff, to post production and final delivery.You will be a commercially conscious creative thinker, with a passion for video as part of multiplatform campaigns. Video is a key area of growth for the Global business and we're looking for someone who will deliver creativity, leadership and innovative and effective visual content.What you'll be doing You will be responsible for creating memorable video content that our audiences will want to share and hits the right mark for our commercial partners Working with tight brief turnarounds, tricky client requests and keeping what's best for the Global brand top of mind shouldn't phase you You'll be working with our video, radio, online and commercial departments so you'll be great communicator and with brilliant organisational skills You'll be able to write a great script and be able to tailor your writing to our various shows and brands. You'll live online; understanding social and online culture and trends. You'll be aware of our brands and consumers. And you'll have an overview of our competitors' offerings You'll thrive in a high-pressure environment and want to continue to develop your skills and expertise. Ensure creative excellence across all commercial filming projects across the Global brands, both personally, and via effective management of in-house and freelance producers Utilise your extensive experience (budgeting/planning/scheduling/H&S) and strong relationships (casting/crew/locations/equipment/suppliers) within production to drive high creative standards throughout the projects from conception to delivery Ability to work to and within budgets, reconcile all finances at end of shoots Ensure that all content meets brand guidelines for both editorial and commercial Constantly strive to bring new concepts to fruition proactively Collaborate with the Sales teams and Commercial Programming to develop compelling and innovative video-based content solutions for agencies and clients Generate ideas, treatments, and storyboards to help pitch to clients Maintain a high standard of communication, both internal and external to keep all stakeholders informed throughout the production processWhat we expect of you Previous experience working as a producer in an agency or similar Excellent project management skills Strong communicator, and great at managing expectations A thorough understanding of the Global portfolio and all Global platforms You will be able to work flexible hours and work weekends (in lieu) You will be ambitious and passionate about video in the commercial sphereCommunication Skills You will be a skilled communicator; able to develop relationships both internally and externally that benefit the business. Able to stay calm under pressure and respond appropriately to conflicting demands on your time.Self Effectiveness Resourceful in planning, able to organise and prioritise work, and able to delegate where necessary. Reliable and consistent in achieving objectives. Proven ability to work to tight deadlines in a high-volume, quick-turnaround environment.
