Our mission is to give the people of the Midlands coverage they can't get anywhere else - the person who fills this role will be a key player in delivering this ambition.Job Description:Produce and present a Sunday sport show focused on Laois, Offaly, and Westmeath from 2pm to 6pm.Coverage will include linking to live coverage of games across the Midlands, as well as providing live updates of scores from elsewhere.Develop feature content to fit around live action, and drive audience engagement by platforming listeners views.Co-Ordinate weekend sports content by liaising with weekday staff and presenter, commentators, including arranging accreditation and managing equipment.Manage Midlands 103 Sports output online over the weekend as appropriate.Work with the sales team and live comms teams to ensure sponsorship agreements are carried as agreed.Work with Head of Sport to identify and develop new on-air talent.To apply, please send CV, on-air demo, and a short cover letter detailing your suitability to the role.
