As a Senior Audio Programmer, you will work closely with the audio department to design and implement high-quality, cutting-edge audio features and DSP effects for AAA video games. You will use your passion for audio to push for quality at all opportunities, across all elements of the title. Lighthouse Games works at the forefront of game development, and you will be joining a dedicated team passionate about quality, collaboration, and respect. Key Duties IncludeWork closely with the rest of the audio and design teams to design and implement industry-leading audio systems Produce clean and robust code, following all standards and guidelines, including the use of automated testing processes Utilise industry standard tools and software Ensure audio consistency across all platforms and devices Create, debug, and optimise audio features and DSP effects for performance Stay up-to-date with audio trends and technologies, and provide feedback and suggestions for audio improvements Pro-actively seek opportunities to improve the quality of everything we do Actively take part in our collaborative and creative team spirit RequirementsExperience as an Audio Engineer on one of more console/PC titles Strong C++ skills, including profiling, debugging and code optimisation Knowledge of audio software and tools Experience with Wwise, FMOD or similar audio middleware Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills Passionate about video games, sound design, and audio engineering Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 Experience working on current generation consoles Experience working with audio for vehiclesBenefits25 Days Holiday, plus 1 day for your birthday Studio Shutdown between Christmas and New Year Discretionary Bonus Scheme Private Pension Scheme Private Healthcare Health and Well-Being Benefits Dental Care Optical treatments Mental Health Support
