An ability to work on their own initiative but knowledge of when to refer up where appropriateAdditional Responsibilities - Unit PMAThis role is part of a small team based in Bridge House, Salford, acting as a central point of contact for a range of stakeholders. The role will also support the In House Executive team, including the Head of Production in tasks such as arranging and minuting meetings, organising departmental screenings and meetings, assisting with the transport and travel needs of the exec team, collating production information for the exec team etcWe are looking for someone with diary management, systems experience and an ability to get up to speed with various IT/Technical systems.Please note that this role is office based (with office hours) - with occasional requirements to go out on location visits.Additional Responsibilities - Blue Peter PMAThe first point of contact for on-screen talent and agents when it comes to arrangements, booking presenters' time and logistical aspects of the presenters working with the team.Provides administrative support and diary management to the Editor of the production.Experience of setting up location filming is an advantage.Are you the right candidate?You must have a passion about working in this creative industry, especially Children's content. Awareness of multi-platform production/content.Knowledge of, or an ability to learn, BBC systems for the purposes of booking travel and accommodation and purchasing/raising payments on behalf of the production in a cost effective and timely mannerAble to use systems and adopt new technologies.. Demonstrates strong organisational and planning skills and manages conflicting demands to meet deadlines.You will have strong organisational skills and experience working to multiple teams.Excellent communication skills when dealing with Talent, contributors and external stakeholdersYou will have experience of working within a busy and fast-paced team and have a strong positive can-do attitude. A keen attention to detail essential.
