GB News are looking for innovative producers to work on one of their highest rating shows.
As Producer you'd be contributing to the building and producing of our daily news programmes and show segments, working alongside the Senior Producer and Executive Producer.
The role is ideal for you if you are looking to build on existing experience in TV production.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Scout and visit locations prior to filming.
-File reports to all teams with photographs and mapping.
-Bid relevant high-profile and celebrity guests.
-Develop excusive stories for the daily programme.
-Plan and build on-air campaigns and series' filming to enhance the product.
-Oversee the team forward-planning calendar.
-Plan coverage of key events, such as Budget Day.
-Film and develop exclusive stories for the daily programme.
-Contribute to the planning of campaigns and series with VT filming.
-Edit and package content creatively for TV and social media.
-Booking guests and contributors
-Researching, reading and pursuing relevant and compelling content
-Communicating with Senior Producer, guests, anchors and operations staff

REQUIREMENTS:
· Strong journalistic skills backed up by a relevant qualification and news experience
· Good knowledge of news and current affairs
· Understanding of OFCOM guidelines and excellent editorial judgement
· Ability to work flexibly across different show shifts - including some weekends
· High standard of written English
· Eligible to work in the UK
