Given the growth of our global clients, this role can either be based in Toronto, Canada, New York, New York or London, United Kingdom.

At this time we are looking for candidates that are fluent in English, as well as an additional language (Spanish, German, Italian or French) both written and fluent speaking. Other languages are certainly a plus.

About the Role: Producer
At Shutterstock Studios, some of the world's best-known brands (like Google, Amazon, Mercedes, Nestle, McDonald's, J&J, the list really goes on!) are asking us to create content (photos, GIFs, video and cinemagraphs). Once they send us a brief, that's when you step in and make it happen. Producers evaluate briefs and work with our contributors around the world to get the work completed. You'll need to assign the work, anticipate potential roadblocks and take on the responsibility of getting 'er done on time and on budget. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and learn a ton about production management in a short period of time!

Responsibilities:
*Fulfill projects with Creatives from all over the world based on workload, skills, and network coverage
*Create, assess, and review complex briefs for feasibility, scope and budget
*Make judgment calls on changes in project scope, schedule, and costs on the fly
*Manage logistics for site-specific shoots: call times, vehicles, insurance, etc.
*Ability to turn project roadblocks into opportunities and convey any issues to clients
*Host client briefing calls to understand objectives, likes and dislikes and work with clients to iterate on process and best practices
*Assess the risks of each project accurately, ask questions, and take initiative
*Keep a ton of balls in the air all the time and communicate what's going on proactively
*Build your own work back schedules including budgets, crews, etc.
*Lead by example and contribute to a the proactive, positive, and solutions-focused team culture
*Work closely with sales and leadership to help drive repeatable business through quality deliverables and excellent service
*Work with our sales team to partner on the client creative and align expectations as best possible with end creative
*Be a dedicated Production and Customer Service resource to a full roster of clients, with a focus on white glove service and high quality deliverables;
*Remain process-oriented and ensure projects are run to the letter, and ensuring we are SOX compliant
*Work closely with Management on strategic initiatives to streamline our workflows & remain agile in a changing landscape
*Work with the Content Operations leadership team to iterate on process and continuously improve cost, quality and speed
*Identify opportunities for new products via Scoping and client debrief feedback
*Oversee onboarding of new Creative Production Managers
*Join the Scoping team to review all Sales inquiries and answer those assigned to you
*Liaise with Finance as required (client contract issues/ contributor payment matters)
*Liaise with Legal as required (issues related to insurance, contract addendums, ad hoc)
*Additional duties as required

Qualifications:
*You have production or agency experience - both is even better
*You are confident in your client facing abilities and can think on your feet
*You're scrappy and logical, you know what it takes to get the job done
*You're great under pressure and have managed complex projects before in a time crunch
*You can confidently speak in production terms
*You are organized to the MAX and you keep your pencil crayons sorted by the colour spectrum
*You're a creative thinker who is able to think outside of the box and can foresee issues that might come up when handling difficult projects
*You are a strong communicator and are able to work with creatives on projects that require a lot of logistics
*You aren't afraid of taking initiative and problem solving independently
*We work with clients and creatives all around the world! You'll be ok taking that call outside of the regular 9-5.
*You are service oriented - whether it's with clients, internal teams or our network, you partner with people to get the job done.

*Critical thinker
*Above average communication skill, both written and verbal
*Strong time management skills; you know when to get in the weeds, and when high level is the preferred approach
*Posses a can-do attitude and be solutions-focused - lead by example
*You finish what you start, and have follow through on commitments
*Strong knowledge of production, intellectual property & permitting best practices for commercial photo and video production
*Ability to scope and price projects in cooperation with Sales, as well as with existing clients who need advice on how best to utilize their investment with Studios
*Be kind and generous with your expertise, mentoring team members to foster high performance in your peers and help set them up for success
*Curiosity and a desire to always be learning
*3-6 years of experience or equivalent
