Post Production Manager

London

We are looking for a Post-Production Manager to join our dynamic London office. You'll be responsible for all our post production facilities and workflows, ultimately ensuring the effective and timely delivery of our film productions. You'll work quickly, balancing multiple projects for both long and short form productions. You'll also advise on equipment and systems, and provide technical support required in running our edit suites.

You will be responsible for all the staff required for our edits, identifying and managing a pool of talented staff and freelance editors to ensure highly produced video, as well as managing two edit assistants to support in the post production process, ensuring the highest standards of performance and supporting them to develop their potential.

What you'll be doing...
• Managing the workload and resource for multiple edits to ensure that all tasks in the final stage of a project's production are finished on time and to budget.
• Coordinate staff, freelancers and edit job schedules to ensure flow of services.
• Assigning and overseeing edit schedules, liaising with producers to ensure delivery to agreed timescales.
• Identify and disseminate best practice and policies, highlighting innovative solutions to improve efficiency and ensuring compliance.
• Overseeing the timely and accurate archiving and storage of productions.
• Maintaining quality control and ensuring films are delivered to specification.
• Booking, coordinating and contracting freelance editors and assistant editors, ensuring projects remain on budget.
• General Premiere trouble shooting.
• Overseeing and organising the maintenance of all our editing equipment.

What we need from you...
• Have experience of working in a busy post production environment
• Have good experience of using Adobe software
• Be good with people and have exceptional communication skills
• Be a problem solver with the ability to make quick decisions
• Have superb organisational skills
• Have solid scheduling experience and good knowledge of edit workflow
• Be proficient at using Microsoft Excel
