Overview:The role of Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Distribution is to sell features, TV movies and series to broadcasters internationally.The London based SPT Distribution team has an exciting opportunity for a PA & Team Assistant to join them on a permanent basis from June 2017.The key requirement of this role is to provide support to the SVP Distribution and assist the wider team in distributing SPT product throughout the CEE territories via the main TV Sales licensing channels including Pay TV, Free TV, Basic TV, VOD and PPV.Key Responsibilities Include:Extensive diary management for the SVP and sales team, scheduling calls and meetings across multiple time zonesGreet clients on arrival at London office, organise catering for meetings when neededArrange accommodation and travel (including Russian visas) and produce detailed itinerariesCoordinate complex meeting schedules at various industry markets and conferences (LA Screenings, MIPCOM etc)Order, process and track film and TV series screeners for clientsProcess legal documents and track via databaseUpdate team calendar with travel, holidays and group notificationsProcess monthly expenses on ConcurSet up 'new starters'Order stationeryCreate product presentations in PowerPointWork closely with other PAs in the department, providing assistance when needed and holiday coverLiaise closely with HR, IT and Facilities to ensure smooth running of the departmentAd hoc research projects when neededQualifications and / or Experienced Required:Typically, 2-3 years' experience of working in an office environment - preferably TV programme distribution and an interest in the TV distribution businessEducated to A Level standard, must have GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in mathsHighly numerate and computer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) - must be very adaptable and confident with computer systems (particularly databases)High level of organisation and ability to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines whilst maintaining an extremely high level of attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProactive, enthusiastic and confidentTeam playerDemonstrable experience supporting multiple executives, managing busy diaries, coordinating market schedules and making global travel arrangements
