Nuke Artist

London

A Nuke Artist should be skilled, motivated, have creative vision and a technical understanding of Nuke. Strong communication and team playing skills are a must with experience of working on high-end advertising VFX projects.

Must have extensive experience working with clients including directors and agency creatives from initial meetings through to final delivery.

Will be required attend shoots and supervise VFX requirements on-set.

Will be required to break-down and quote on complex VFX projects.

Key responsibilities

Operations:

Compositing and 2D project management, involving compositing of VFX/CGI elements, and the creation and integration of motion GFX.
Providing articulate, helpful feedback to in-house artists.
Pitching and quoting for new work, devising clear methodologies outlining your creative approach to a brief.
On-set VFX Supervision, with a con?dent voice and strong problem-solving abilities.
Solving creative problems using simple, efficient techniques, sharing ideas with team mates and iterating rapidly based on client notes.
Mentoring and training junior artists in your teams.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Confidently engage with clients in pre-production meetings offering advice & solutions on how to achieve best results.
Ability to react to changes efficiently and meet delivery deadlines.
Good working knowledge of photography, filmmaking techniques and technologies.
Knowledge of 3D software packages such as C4D & Maya.

Client:

Have the ability to deal with client issues quickly and effectively, seeking assistance when required.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients providing assistance and advice as and when required.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Con?dently engage with clients in pre-prod meetings offering advice & solutions on how to achieve best results.
Committed to maintaining our client base, and nurturing your own client network.

People:

Take responsibility for own learning and development
Liaising with all levels of management and staff
Mentoring and training junior artists in your teams.

Finance:

Will be required to break down and quote on complex VFX projects.
