Join Petlab Co.'s dynamic Video team as a Lead Video Editor and play a pivotal role in shaping a new era of high-performance videos that drive substantial revenue. In this exciting position, you'll immerse yourself in a bustling environment brimming with innovative ideas and creative excellence.

Your work will be instrumental in boosting sales across prominent channels like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, serving as the initial touchpoint between customers and the Petlab Co. brand. The primary objective of your content will be to captivate, educate, and inspire users to explore our products, enabling them to make informed decisions about their pets' health.

As the Lead Video Editor, your responsibilities will extend beyond crafting compelling content. You'll take on a mentoring role within the video team, actively contributing to the generation of fresh ideas that directly impact performance. Collaborating with the Head of Video, you will facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, and actively contribute to daily idea development and process enhancement.

Your day to day will look a little bit like this...

Serve as the go-to expert in the specialized field of video production, offering valuable advice and guidance to team members and the broader company to ensure the adoption of best practices.
Conduct comprehensive market research, pinpoint opportunities for innovation, and conceptualize new ideas aimed at enhancing performance. Effectively communicate and pitch these concepts to relevant channel leads.
Engage with channel leads to shepherd internal video projects from ideation to evaluation, utilizing data to assess creative performance and continuously optimize outcomes.
Provide proactive guidance, support, and mentorship to junior team members, focusing on mentorship and upskilling to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed for success.
Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks or obstacles, and ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects within established service level agreements.
Take charge of leading and managing intricate video projects from inception to completion, ensuring the achievement of all project goals and objectives.
Continuously enhance project management processes, tools, and frameworks to boost overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee the implementation and administration of the video production pipeline, ensuring seamless execution.

Requirements
What we're looking for

5 years+ of experience working in a video editing role for DTC brands creating paid advertising that helped drive revenue
Experience leading, mentoring and growing a team of editors
Possess advanced expertise in Adobe Products, including Premiere and After Effects. (Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma would be ideal).
Active consumer of video trends, willing and able to bring creative ideas to the table.
Ability to work in fast fast-paced production environment with quick turnarounds.
Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects at the same time and work successfully with multiple internal teams.
A positive can-do attitude with a collaborative mindset
