Lead Editor / Videographer

Southwark, London HYBRID

We are on the lookout for an experienced and talented editor and self-shooting director to join a leading award-winning communications agency. You will be responsible for creating award-winning content for some of the world's leading brands.

This is a very busy, and close-knit team of creatives, who service a very broad and prestigious client list: a central hub studio of creatives, producers, animators, editors, designers, strategists, and storytellers. We are passionate about our clients and love the work we do.

You should have a good eye for a great shot and be able to stitch together a compelling narrative, with the ability to work unsupervised and provide and explain creative solutions.

Experience that contributes to your success
* You are an established shooter/director with lots of professional editing experience.
* Experience in marketing, agency or content production
* Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
* Good colour grading and audio skills
* Previous line management responsibilities
* Able to use BlackMagic cameras and shoot to a professional standard
* Strong knowledge of on-set lighting and production equipment
* Organised with strong attention to detail
* A natural storyteller and able to craft a compelling narrative
* A real collaborator and team player
* Can receive and provide direction and contribute to the creative development of projects
* Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
* Can work to tight deadlines
* Pragmatic and great at problem-solving
* Clear and confident communicator

What you will do as you MOVE with us
* Owning projects and editing/shooting highly engaging digital content
* Work across a range of content, destined for a variety of platforms. You could be working on a documentary one day then creating a brand film the next
* Supporting the production team across all projects
* Creating scopes of work and production budgets for projects
* Working with our Head of Production to facilitate projects from initial briefing through to final delivery
* Work with Creatives to understand client needs and find the best solutions considering budget and resources
* Directing shoots, filming on your own or as part of a wider crew
* Mentoring and managing a junior production team
