Job Title: Junior Editor

Job Purpose: Working as a Junior Editor requires exceptional post production editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro to provide assets in aiding the sale of individual products for Ideal World. This involves colour correcting & grading, QC and sound mixing to broadcast standards. As the videos are for television broadcast, these are produced to the highest quality and follow the Ofcom Broadcasting Code.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities

• Editing channel VT's to the highest quality for broadcast and web.
• Meet all project deadlines and forward plan with the Senior Editor & Creative Services Manager.
• Understanding of channel branding and continuity.
• Capturing and logging of material ready for edit.
• Audio manipulation and sound mixing techniques.
• Colour grading and correction.
• QC assessment.
• Admin associated with logging material in to our internal database and library

Technical Competencies

• Experience in sound mixing and audio levels.
• Colour grading and correction.
• Machine room knowledge - matrix operation, VTR operation.
• QC assessment.
• Appropriate IT skills
