Our award-winning YouTube channel The Overlap is growing, and we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Junior Video Editor to join our team in Manchester on a fixed term basis.

Since launching in April 2021, Gary Neville's The Overlap has reached an astonishing 289 million views, one billion impressions and now boasts over one million subscribers!

The channel features exclusive interviews with some of world sport's biggest stars who talk openly about the highs and lows of their careers, the triumphs, and challenges of reaching the top of elite sport.

The Overlap is powered by Buzz 16, where we create the very best in live and non-live sports entertainment for linear and digital platforms. Working with the biggest stars in sport, across the world's leading broadcasters.

Reporting to the Head of Social, this would be a great position for someone who has a deep understanding of all social media platforms, a strong interest in football and a passion for short-form video editing.

What you'll be doing...
* Working within The Overlap social team to create engaging short from video content.
* Helping the team to create videos for our existing content formats like Stick to Football, Fan Debates, and Exclusive interviews.
* Creating captions and subtitles for all clips working with company brand pack.
* Assisting other members of the social team where needed.
* Creating content on mobile using apps like Cap Cut and Premiere Rush.

Requirements
Who you are...
* You have a strong understanding of social media video across all social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube & X).
* You're a social native who is tuned into and excited by the interests and passions of Gen-Z audiences.
* You have a creative mind that can spot a trend and turn it into a successful piece of content using images.
* You already have knowledge of Premiere Pro and other Adobe Suite programmes.
* You are highly proficient with Apple products and understand how to use a MacBook.
* You have a positive attitude and the ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
* You are interested in Football and may have worked in similar publishing environment before.
* You have great attention to detail and English skills and have experience in quality controlling social media content.
