WMR are looking to expand their work by adding a new branch to the company with the intention of providing regular content using our existing archive of material that ranges from archive footage to shot rushes used in our previous programmes.

We require a talented Junior Editor to work alongside producers to edit, create new and engaging material that'll be part of our push towards producing content for online distribution.

You will be reporting to the Head of Post Production.

Key Responsibilities...

- Editing using non-linear software (Avid, Adobe Premiere, Da Vinci Resolve)
- Colour grading and sound mixing to provide a finished product for delivery to online platforms.
- Assist in planning, production and delivery of WMR digital content to YouTube, Vimeo and or other online platforms/websites.
- Providing creative assistance to producers.
- Cataloguing WMR's library of material for use in future productions.
- Working closely with Head of Post Production and ensuring media is managed correctly.

Additional Skills required..

- Experience working as a freelance editor particularly in a Production company.
- A good understanding of Post Production workflows.
- Strong knowledge of camera formats and video codecs.
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite.
- After Effects skills desirable.
- Photoshop / Illustrator skills desirable.
- A good understanding MS Office.
- Ability to understand and read scripts and adhere to producers notes.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Able to work on multiple projects at any one time and manage your workload effectively.
- Able to take notes and document your work.
- A good understanding of digital media platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo as well as VOD services.
