Boulder Creek International is a well-established and innovative boutique production and distribution company based in the Bermondsey area of London. We produce several popular extreme sports magazine shows, broadcasting internationally and distribute a variety of programs and documentaries to broadcasters around the world.

The Role
We are looking for a driven individual who has a willingness to learn, and a desire to grow within our company. They must be detail oriented and possess technical knowledge. This is a fast paced position dealing with multiple edits at one given time as well as preparing files for delivery in our required tech specs. The junior editor will be working across each of our extreme sports shows.

The junior editor will report to the Head of Post Production and work closely with the editors and the Production team in meeting deadlines for delivery.

Key Requirements
• A detailed knowledge of AVID
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects and FCP7 preferable but not essential
• Minimum 1 to 2 years experience working as an Edit Assistant or similar role
• Thorough understanding of post production process
• Knowledge of various formats and codecs
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Desire to learn and develop their skillset
• Good organizational skills
• Knowledge of Mac OS X operating system

Responsibilities
• Transcoding and standards conversions
• Assembling edits
• Recording and editing voice over
• Assisting with internal QC of programming
• Managing and creating Music Cue Sheets
• Liaising with production team
