Interviewer/Video Editor (Vietnamese-Speaking)

UK

We use film to answer market and social research questions for our clients. We are currently conducting a healthcare project using digital ethnography with consumers in five markets, including Vietnam, to explore women's beliefs around preventative healthcare. The results will help our client understand how best to reach and communicate with their target audience.

We are seeking a fluent-Vietnamese-speaking interviewer/video-editor for a digital ethnography market research project. You will moderate five Vietnam-based female consumers over a week as they complete video-based tasks. You'll also conduct in-depth interviews with them to probe into what's behind their behaviour and attitudes. In addition, you will edit a short film from their self-recorded video footage.

It will be approximately 9.5 days' work in total over the period stated.

Key criteria:

- It is vital that you have a genuine interest in people and culture, and it is particularly important that you are experienced in moderating and building rapport with participants.
- You will also be skilled in editing observational-style short films with a clear narrative, and competent at using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- It is essential that you are fluent in both Vietnamese and English.
- The role is home-based, so you will need your own computer with Adobe Premiere Pro 2019/2020.
- The successful candidate will need to be flexible, given the time difference between the UK and Vietnam.

Please get in touch if you fit the requirements, and we will provide more details.
