In-House Editor + Shooter

East London

We're looking for a talented Editor and Film-maker to join our quickly growing East London based film production company, Pavilion Works.. You will be joining the core in-house team of 3, becoming a key member working on commercial and in-house projects. Our work environment is fast, creative and always striving to push ideas and concepts.

Pavilion Works started in early 2017, since then we have amassed an array of clients working across Music, Fashion and Documentary. Our backgrounds in large commercial productions to online mini series give us a unique understanding of this ever changing film landscape.

This role will enable you to grow with the company and have an impact on how we operate. You will work within a team that is pushing forward and looking to expand different areas, giving you the chance to learn, gain valuable industry knowledge but also being able to take hold of the role and make it yours.

This is a full time positions to start as soon as possible.

REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate is multi-skilled, a creative thinker that is willing to push ideas but also able to follow a brief. We expect you to be hands on with a positive attitude towards all projects and thrive on working as a team. You should be well versed in the technical side of production and have a sharp eye for story and aesthetics. You will often be required to present your own ideas for projects.

Ideal candidate will have:
- A passion for filmmaking in all its forms.
- 2 + years in the industry, either employed or as a freelancer.
- Previously worked at a production company or post production house
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Self motivated and able to take initiative

EDITOR:
- Ability to edit in Premiere Pro is a must.
- Switched onto current edit trends and techniques
- Quickly assemble edits and implement feedback from clients and producers.
- Have a clear and a well organised editing workflow.
- Comfortable with After Effects CC a plus.
- Happy to work on corporate branded content along with more creatively demanding projects.
- Have an understanding of basic colour correction, sound mixing.

SHOOTER / DIRECTOR
- Have strong examples and a proven track record of self shooting for clients and brands.
- Ability to set up cameras, sound and lighting
- Have a good knowledge of cameras, composition and a sharp eye for art direction.
- Happy to work on corporate branded content along with more creatively demanding projects.

Applicants must provide a CV + cover letter along with video links to work.

Would be great but not essential:
- Basic knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Da Vinci or 3D Animation Software
- Basic Animation skills
- An eye or interest in photography.
