We are looking for an Edit Assistant for a short term, temporary contract PLEASE DO NOT CALL - EMAIL ADDDRESS BELOW ONLY * Main duties will include:- Backing up tapeless rushes, and ingesting into Avid in a shared project- Editing sequences for viewings, reducing long sequences of rushes- Trouble shooting any edit suite problems that may arise CRITERIA* Start Thursday, 5th July 2012 for 2.5 weeks.* Based NW1* MUST have previous Post Production experience* MUST have ability to use Avid and understand tapeless HD workflows including ingest, footage consolidation and media management. * MUST be organized, technically-minded and able to complete basic edit tasks within Avid* Experience administrating EditShare servers and/or Flow systems would be an advantage* Working knowledge of a range of video formats also an advantage* THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL JOB - SUBSTANTIAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED* PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MATCH THE CRITERIA* DO NOT CALL PRODUCTION COMPANY - EMAIL ONLY* THERE ARE NO OTHER JOBS, IF YOU ARE NOT APPLYING FOR THE ADVERTISED JOB - DO NOT SEND YOUR CV Please send CV ATTACHMENT with covering letter- outlining your suitability for the role
