As Creative Producer (Contract basis) at WildBrain Spark you will be the creative leader in one of our many exciting productions. You will work alongside the Producers and rest of the Production team to deliver the project on brief, on time and on budget. You will be part of a team of Creative Producers that is dedicated to building content for new and existing major kids brands and the worlds that surround them. This role reports directly to the Senior Producer.Your first project will be a recently greenlit Stop-Motion animated series for one of our clients. You will be working closely with the Production Assistant, who has recently stepped up to take lead on the project. Ths will be a collaboration on the creative, working together on deciison making and supporting the PA to make sure we deliver top quality narrative and musical content.ResponsibilitiesWorking collaboratively across all teams (Commerical, Distibution, Data, Post-Production)Lead creative feedback across the production pipelineWorking with and updating internal and external stakeholders to ensure series development and direction is to briefCollaborating with the Production Management team on building budgets and schedules - understanding how the creative decisions impact bothWork with our Legal team on ensuring all appropriate rights and paperwork is readyFind and suggest new suppliers, vendors, crew members when requiredBe a leader in the team and help build and establish the culture of the production teamQualifications Knowledge of the digital content industryKnowledge on production processes, especially related to animation.Experience in the kids market if possible.Communication skills, enjoys interacting and building relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.Multi-tasker, with the ability to work under pressure on a variety of projects.Experience working across narrative content, such as short form or YouTube specific.Experience with interpretation of creative briefs and creative judgement.Process driven, time management and prioritization skillsUnderstanding of animation workflows across different media formats and which suit the production best.High standard of creative ability and understanding of character, narrative and story development.
