The Opportunity - Your Role as Creative Director
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead the creative vision of one of the world's foremost music storytelling studios. As Creative Director at Mercury Studios, you will be the driving force behind our unscripted film and television output - shaping, pitching and delivering compelling content that resonates globally. With music at the heart of every story, you'll harness your editorial expertise, creative flair and industry relationships to push boundaries, champion bold ideas and position Mercury at the forefront of cultural conversation. You'll play a central role in defining our creative future, working alongside exceptional talent and a senior leadership team committed to excellence, innovation and impact.

A Day in the Life at Mercury Studios
As Creative Director, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Mercury's creative vision and output. You will:
Lead the creative direction and pipeline across all unscripted film and TV content
Identify and develop original, music-led stories with global appeal
Partner closely with the SVP Creative, North America
Oversee creative development and editorial sign-off
Represent Mercury at a senior level with external partners, platforms and creatives
Foster and maintain relationships with artists, producers, directors and industry peers
Translate business strategy into vibrant creative output
Guide and inspire our internal development team
Form part of the senior leadership team, helping to steer the studio's overall growth

About You
You are a dynamic creative leader with deep editorial experience and a passion for telling powerful stories through music. You bring:
A strong track record of developing and delivering critically acclaimed, commercially successful content
Experience across both production and executive producing
Solid working knowledge of development processes
A well-established network of industry relationships - from directors and producers to on-screen talent
A love of film, television and music, and the vision to bring them together
A collaborative approach and the confidence to represent Mercury on the global stage

Skills & Experience
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
A proven track record of developing, pitching and delivering critically acclaimed and commercially successful film and television content
Extensive hands-on editorial experience, including producing and executive producing across a variety of formats
Strong understanding of the development process, with the ability to lead and mentor a creative team
A deep network of industry contacts - including directors, producers, on-screen talent, and creatives - and the ability to bring those relationships to Mercury Studios
Excellent storytelling instincts and a passion for original, music-led content
Strategic thinking and a commercial mindset, with the ability to align creative ideas with business goals
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to represent Mercury in senior-level discussions and external forums
A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and the ability to lead projects from concept to delivery
Genuine love of film, television and music, and a sense of curiosity and adventure in your creative work
