Camera Assistant

We're a young company, but share decades of award winning, broadcast experience at the highest level for all major channels.
We have an exciting opportunity for an entry-level applicant within our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to learn under the guidance of experienced crew members and cover a wide range of skill sets from camera, sound and post production.

We are a small but friendly team and our aim is to create a relaxed place to work where each employee feels valued.

Job Role

• Kit management and maintenance
• Assisting on location, rigging cameras and equipment
• Driving the camera van
• Uploading rushes
• Prepping the edit suite

Our Expectations

• Must have a full clean UK driving licence
• At least 1 years experience in the industry
• Willing to learn
• Enthusiasm for the job
• Good communications skills and show sensitivity when working with talent and crew
• Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
• Ability to carry out instructions with great accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to be flexible
• Ability to work under pressure
• Basic knowledge of camera equipment
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro

About You

This position is aimed at individuals who want to pursue a career in the technical side of the broadcast industry, working their way up to camera operator. You will need to be creative, eager to learn and happy to get stuck in. You will need to be flexible, this is a fast changing industry and we often have to work long, irregular hours when filming on location, occasionally over weekends. You will also need to be happy to travel away from home when required for shoots. We work in a demanding industry, but it is also fun, varied and rewarding.
