Archive Researcher

Its award-winning programming spans a diverse set of genres, including scripted comedy, factual entertainment, sports documentaries and documentary series, with a strong focus on talent led programming.



About The Role:

We are looking for an Archive Researcher to join our Music & Sport: Features & Series team on a heavy archive based feature documentary. The candidate will be working alongside the Archive Producer to complete the Archive Preparation for this project and will continue to work throughout the project to achieve requirements for a fast turnaround edit.


Role: Archive Researcher

Potential Start Date: ASAP (for approx. x13 weeks)

Location: London


Skills and Experience:

-The Archive Researcher will need to have experience in clearing sport archive (inc. international broadcasts & events). The candidate will also need to be able to negotiate archive rates and clearances, which they can present to the Archive Producer.
-An understanding and interest in sport and sporting events in an advantage.
-This is not an entry role position and you will need experience at an Archive Researcher level to be considered.
-2+ Credits as an Archive Researcher covering archive from Sport & Sport Events.
-Knowledge of archive clearances and negotiating against a budget.
-Strong contacts in Sport Clearances is an advantage
