Archive Researcher

Whether it's getting celebrities to open up like never before or having Hollywood stars like Dolly Parton and Matthew McConaughey, working on special features and shows including Loose Men, Daytime's longest-running talk show continues to set the news agenda every weekday for our million-plus viewers. And now, you have a chance to join our talented team.

We are looking for an Archive Researcher to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing and clearing stills and footage requested by the researchers and producers on Loose Women.
Using our extensive in-house archive as well as other sources and agencies to source footage.
Advising on clearance and copyright issues.
Researching and liaising with external picture and video archives and negotiating rates with new suppliers or for exclusive images.
Researching user generated content via viral agencies or contacting the user's direct on social media platforms.
Clearing and obtaining promotional clip licences for third party material.
Completing the appropriate Oracle Fusion tasks associated with buying in footage and stills.
Various in house duties including data entry, logging and raising PO's.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

At least 1 year's experience as a Picture Researcher/Archive researcher for TV/Film/online/Magazines or within a newsroom environment.
Good Working knowledge of Fair Dealing and copyright law in a live TV Production environment
Proven track record of multi tasking and displaying resilience under extreme pressure
