Mechanimal is an award-winning theatre company originally from Bristol, England. It creates innovative live performances and immersive events that explore our relationship to a fast changing planet - nature, technology, climate and the more-than-human. The company has been funded by organisations like Arts Council England, Innovate UK, Nordic Culture Point, the Leverhulme Trust and Without Walls, and has developed work in partnership with institutions such as the NHM, Oxford University and UCL. Mechanimal has gained strong recognition over the past decade for its contemporary, devised, naturefocused performance work.

Led by performer and director Tom Bailey the company has received critical acclaim and several awards. Current company activities are occurring across the UK, Denmark, Norway, Slovenia and Lithuania. The company is also a resident at the Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol, where it develops creative technology-related work. Undergoing a period of significant growth, Mechanimal is seeking a Freelance Creative Producer to help expand its activity and bring its productions to new audiences, especially through festivals and venues in the UK and EU.
