Midsummer Films was established in 1995 by actor turned producer Christopher Milburn. Since then the company has produced more than twenty feature films including An American Haunting starring Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek, Relative Values starring Colin Firth and Julie Christie and Dreaming of Joseph Lees with Samantha Morton and Rupert Graves and most recently The Hunters Prayer with Sam Worthington and Odeya Rush. Midsummer Films has grown organically over time in both resources and aspirations for the future, positioning itself amongst financiers & independent filmmakers, both in the UK and overseas and providing financing through European and Chinese film structures.
