Atomized was founded in January 2010 by Zad Rogers as a "second generation" independent production company. It produces content for web and TV, funded by both brands and broadcaster. Atomized's ability to explore new clients and new distribution opportunities whilst retaining rights puts it in a unique position amongst the independent production community.

In April 2010 BBH, one of the world's most successful creative agencies, took a minority stake in Atomized and became a creative partner. BBH and Atomized are bringing together the creative disciplines of TV and advertising to pioneer new ways of developing and funding formats.

Leading Producer Sara Brailsford joined the company as Director of Content bringing a wealth of experience in creating and managing lifestyle programming. Sara has been a senior executive at a number of Britain's most successful production companies and a commissioning executive at the BBC. Her credits include Master Chef and the UK versions of Biggest Loser and Project Catwalk.

Atomized has had a very strong start and is exceeding its targets with commissions from the following:
•Dunlop/Street Response: A viral video for Dunlop showcasing their new tyres.
•Times/River Cafe: 80 short videos for The Times with exclusive recipes and behind the scenes action from The River Café.
•Grazia House: Prime time 8x1hr female skewed reality format for Sky and Grazia Magazine.
•Johnny Walker/Keep Walking: A series of short videos with famous achievers talking about their life and successes.
• Omo (Persil) "Today I Am": 20x5min series on kids trying out dream jobs for distribution on-line.
