ZCZ Films was established by the Sunday Times art critic Waldemar Januszczak in 1997.
We are one of just a few British companies specialising in high quality educational documentaries and definitely one of the oldest.

We have made films varying in subjects from the biographies of greatest painters (The Full Story series about Van Gogh, Gauguin, Manet, Picasso) to award winning series on Baroque and Impressionism.
We have collaborated with the most important art collections in the world such as The Vatican Museums, The Louvre, The Prado, The Metropolitan Museum New York, just to name a few. We have a long experience of filming in locations requiring utmost care (like the Sistine Chapel or Pompei) and we filmed and will film for the current production in World Heritage Sites.
The programmes made by ZCZ Films are always directed and presented by Waldemar Januszczak, which is a guarantee of professional and caring approach to subjects of the films.
Part of our unique style is always filming art in situ, in the most spectacular way, which allows the viewers fully appreciate and understand the importance of places and objects filmed.
