Job Introduction


We're looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our social media team, within the BBC's Children's and Education department. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of social media knowledge and know how to engage an audience on vertical platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.



This role will be primarily promoting CBeebies brands to a parent / carer audience on social media, using bespoke and commissioned social content to bring our programming and wider campaigns to new, underserved audiences and existing fans.

Main Responsibilities


Producing innovative, engaging content across our social media channels, ensuring all posts are aligned with our brand tone of voice and values as well as being high impact social content.



Editing video and image content for social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.



Keeping abreast and sharing insight of the latest social media trends, platforms and influencers. Sharing this insight with the team and through ideas.



Collaborating with other teams to produce content and support TV shows and campaigns.
