We have been commissioned by CBeebies to produce a 40-part pre-school observational documentary series following a class of 4 and 5 year old children as they start school for the first time.

We are looking for a Shooting Assistant Producer to be based on location in Northumberland from late August until Christmas. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working on observational documentaries, preferably having worked with children and/or within a school environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive shooting experience in both a single and multi camera environment, be able to identify and cover a story and be confident working with children and school staff. The role will involve filming on either an XF305 or PMW 200 camera with the Shooting PD and/or Shooting Researcher on a daily basis.

The candidate will be required to have a CRB/DBS check carried out on them prior to taking the position.
