Junior Video Content Creator

Bicester, Oxford

We're looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, and personable individual to join our team as our in-house Junior Video Content Creator.

This is an unmissable opportunity to work alongside our creative team and develop our agency's 'visual voice'. You'll spend your days capturing the 'essence of Evergreen' - to capture who we are, what we do, and how we do it.

As well as this, you will also have the opportunity to work with our various clients, all of which are in the home, garden & lifestyle space, to create visuals for their paid ads.

The ideal candidate will be a highly creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong grasp of video production and editing, as well as social media content creation. The successful candidate should be able to work collaboratively and have a genuine passion for digital marketing.

You will have the chance to develop original concepts for video projects and marketing campaigns and see them to fruition. You'll work collaboratively with the creative team to discuss video marketing content, and brainstorm concepts and storyboards to bring your ideas to life.

Key role expectations and requirements:
Creating video marketing content to promote our agency, creating video material suitable for several different media channels
Working closely with our Head of Creative, Darren Martin.
Helping develop and organise our in-house video marketing strategy
Managing our social scheduling and platforms
Creating and managing content for our website
Create paid ads content for our clients
Creating video projects for the following formats:
Company culture videos
Social media videos (short form and long form) for social media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
High-quality YouTube videos (short form and long form)
Explainer videos
Client testimonials
Educational videos for our target brands
FAQ explainer videos
You'll occasionally film agency events and capture 'BTS' agency-life footage

Required experience/ skills:
Experience with video recording equipment, sound recording equipment and video editing software
Knowledge of how to use video equipment safely and responsibly
Knowledge of numerous camera operating techniques, video styles and video formats
Evidential post-production experience in editing video and audio to a high standard
A strong understanding of video editing software is essential. We currently use Divinci Resolve and would require any potential applicant to use the same
Experience with Adobe suite such as Photoshop
Excellent eye for detail
Ability to work on different projects, work to deadlines and manage your time well
Excellent communication skills
Strong organisation skills and an ability to hit the ground running - this is a hands-on role from the get-go. You'll be producing video content from day one
A highly creative and innovative mindset to create compelling, engaging video content of the highest standard that is reflective of The Evergreen Agency's core mission, vision and values
A qualification within the following subjects is preferable but not compulsory: Videography, Video Production, Photography, Film, Television, Communications and Media Studies

Important things to note:
Your creative portfolio is the most important element of your application - we're looking for someone to impress us with a portfolio that demonstrates originality, creativity, passion and flair
This is an in-house videographer role and would require you to be in the office 5 days a week
You'll be creating content to promote The Evergreen Agency, which means a genuine passion and interest in digital marketing is vital. (You will be marketing to marketers, after all)
You'll also regularly work alongside (and film) team members, so you'll need to be a team player who can make people feel at ease behind the camera

Years of experience:
You may be a recent University graduate or apprenticeship graduate, or you may have several years of commercial experience, we're much more interested in the person rather than the experience.
