St Marks makes award winning branded content, from adverts, to comedy sketches, to scripted, to influencer content - short form content for the client base at Taylor Herring to create one-of-a-kind videos and activations across the UK.

We are looking for a Head of Production to oversee all the Productions, from crewing up, to budget creation and reconciliation, to the operational side

We are looking for a candidate who is looking for the ultimate step up of Head of Production and ready to add their own flair to the role.

Senior Production Duties
• Take production briefs from the PR & Creative Teams
• Create production plans and generate budgets (including assumptions, calendars, schedules and cash flow) for large-scale and small-scale productions for both digital media and network deals.
• Oversee set design and construction.
• Oversee location logistics.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure production timelines are established and maintained.
• Support clients on large-scale projects
• Negotiate deliverable requirements in contract phase and ensure final delivery.
• Hire and cultivate a roster of both in-house and freelance production crew.
• Manage equipment needs and procurement.
• Attend most shoots to oversee smooth running

Grow Production & Operational Capabilities
• Ensure smooth running of production and operational process
• Mentor new staff grow
• Stay on top of current company processes, improving along the way.

Financial & Contracting Management
• Oversee all aspects of standards and practices compliance; insurance; contracts and deal memos.
• Liaise with Finance on payments and raising PO's
• Keep accurate records of all budgets and spend
• Maintain fidelity across accounting, billing and financial tracking procedures.
• Oversee budget/cash flow for all productions
• Generate and review legal agreements/requirements in the contract phase.
• Ensure compliant suppliers

Requirements
• 3-5 Years as Senior Producer
• Experience managing and hiring freelance staff.
• Great contact book for crewing up
• Working knowledge of supplier contracts
• Working knowledge of production insurances
• Cool and calm under pressure.
• Problem solver
• Not afraid of a challenges
• Fluent in English.

Desirable but not essential
1-2 years' experience as Head of Production
