Cohort Manager

Coronation Street is one of ITV's most successful long running drama series, regularly pulling in millions of viewers. As the success of Coronation Street continues to grow, we are looking for a Cohort Manager to represent Coronation Street at a wider level across ITV and externally as required.

This role entails...
The Cohort Manager is responsible for ensuring that social distancing rules are implemented and maintained on their assigned filming cohort. They will be the first point of contact for any Bio security related issue and act as a conduit for the flow of information between the studio floor/location and the management team. Their judgement on social distancing and the application of these principles will be final. The cohort manager will work with the 1st AD to manage the day to day filming requirements of their cohort, in order to successfully deliver the editorial, production and financial objectives.

This role will carry out inductions for any new crew members and to ensure that any issue raised during the induction process is responded to in collaboration with the Production Management and H&S team.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

Minimum role criteria:
Experience of in-depth knowledge and understanding of Covid protocols on productions.
Demonstrable confidence, assertiveness and experience to effectively implement protocols and give clear direction
Excellent communication skills
Experience of demonstrating resilience and ability to maintain performance in face of ever-changing priorities and workload
Experience of working with Health & Safety department(s)
Ability to work flexibly and in line with production schedules.
Proven ability to carry out inductions for any new crew members and to ensure that any issue raised during the induction process is responded to in collaboration with the Production Management and H&S team

Experience of successful team working
Experience of creating and implementing safe and successful induction processes.
Ability to manage and motivate teams in conjunction and collaboration with others
Demonstrable ability of a mature approach to manage and mitigate any major crises or unforeseen event
Confidence and ability to manage upwards (and other relevant colleagues) with regard to raising issues effectively and efficiently
Experience of scheduling and forward planning
Ability to demonstrate close attention to detail
