The role of Jaguar Land Rover's Chief of Staff/Corporate Affairs department is to protect and promote our brand to a range of internal and external stakeholders.



Corporate Affairs owns the communication strategy for the business, ensuring high quality, integrated and impactful communications to engage, align and influence across all stakeholders. That includes internal and external audiences - including the effective management of Jaguar Land Rover's communication channels.



The role is a key role in Jaguar Land Rover's global Corporate Affairs and wider Chief of Staff function.



The AV Events Technician will work with the AV Events team to support all aspects of audio-visual event delivery including the planning, development, management and delivery of internal and leadership communication events whether it's face to face, virtual or pre-recorded to a high standard - growing our global network for informed advocates.


WHAT TO EXPECT



Deliver and execute events and virtual briefings to the highest standard using the audio-visual technology equipment provided, ensuring the event runs smoothly including independently hosting audio and visual teams events. Events range from senior leadership meetings, D&I network engagement events ad functional town halls
Assist and lead in the effective project management from preparation through to delivery (from end to end) of events and virtual briefings being organised in the Gaydon auditorium, AV Studio and occasionally various UK sites
Support video production requests and briefs including the set up (audio, visual and lighting), shoot and post edit production - reflecting our modern luxury organisation
Maintain an efficient and effective events and audio-visual booking system which meets the requirements necessary to deliver an effective event for the end customer
Ensure equipment is maintained and operational and liaise with IT where necessary to address any faults
Manage the expectations of the end customer through excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Must be able to transport, assemble, maintain and repair equipment used in live events & multimedia production
Must be creative and flexible and be able to perform under deadline pressure.
Develop opportunities to enhance and improve existing AV events and technical channels
Use data and metrics to report and provide feedback on event good practice

WHAT YOU'LL NEED



Demonstrate knowledge of AV disciplines (audio, projection, video, IT, lighting)
Strong ability to organise self, and prioritise workload in order to meet tight deadlines
A good level of IT competence is required in programmes such as Excel, Word and Power Point
Good IT Knowledge and experience, in particular MS Office applications, Windows & Mac platforms
Video recording and editing skills
Good communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of Audio systems
Experience using Yamaha Digital Desks
Experience using Radio Microphones E.g. Shure and Sennhineser.
Knowledge of Conference Room AV Solutions
Experience operating and programming Lights. Ideally experience with avolites consoles
Experience of video streaming
Experience of AV or IP.
Creative skills to deliver excellent content in which attention to detail is essential e.g. editing subtitles
Commitment and ability to work on flexible shifts and days off including out of hours.
