Wigs, Hair and Make-Up Assistant


We are looking for two talented Wigs, Hair and Make-up Assistants to join our busy National Theatre Team. The purpose of the role is to support the Senior Assistants and Supervisors in their work on productions and incoming shows. This means assisting on delivering the requirements of the artistic team within budget and time constraints and helping ensure that the design is maintained throughout the run of the show. We're looking for candidates who are proficient in all aspects of hair-dressing, wig-making and make-up, gained through demonstrable experience in theatre, film or TV, including a relevant training qualification. You will have the ability to understand and interpret creative requirements in a sympathetic manner, a knowledge of period hair dressing and the ability to work under minimum supervision.
