Visualisation Production Manager

London

The Production Manager is central to project management in areas of previs, techvis, postvis and lightweight virtual production. The PM reports to the Head of Visualization and works closely with the Visualization Supervisor and / or Creative Director in all facets of visualization production. On a project basis they work closely with clients in defining production budgets, schedules, methodologies and deliveries. Internally they work with crewing and production teams to successfully deliver projects on brief, on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:
* Line management and delivery of assigned projects
* Client management on a project basis
* Financial management and reporting of project revenue and actuals
* Bidding of change orders
* Scheduling production milestones and deliveries
* Working with crewing team, HoV and Supervisors to crew up on a project basis
* Financial and talent forecasting and reporting
* Managing coordinators on a project basis
* Leading client reviews
* Ensuring security protocols are observed on a project basis
* Delivering project post mortems and ensuring wrap procedures are adhered to
* Communicating project specific IT systems administration requirements on offsite projects
* Working with international studio locations on cross-site productions
* Maintaining a positive and professional working environment

Essential Skills:
* Experience of vis, animation or VFX line production / production management and knowledge of film production workflows and practices
* Production budgeting
* Scheduling and forecasting
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to prioritise
* Calm and confident demeanour
* Knowledge of Shotgun
