Project Description: "Pirate Live"

Pirate Live is a weekly music stream which showcases up and coming musicians.

We tend to strip back the gloss from production, and by doing so we bring the viewer in closer to the action. This doesn't mean we deliver a low production value. It relates more to the way we approach filmmaking with regards to live streaming.

We hold fast to the authenticity of the action. The 'off-site' audience does not see the camera, but instead feels as if they are holding the camera, giving the impression that they are actually at the venue experiencing the show.

Ultimately, we want those who were not, or choose not to be at a given venue, the chance to experience and music as authentically as possible. Pirate Live brings live performance to the people.

About Pirate Studios:

Born from a single studio in an abandoned police station in Bristol, Pirate Studios' aim was to support young, undiscovered artists unable to meet rising costs. In answer to this need, Pirate Studios built an innovative rehearsal platform that provides affordable rooms, equipment and flexibility to aspiring musicians to develop their talents. We hold accessibility and affordability at our core. But, we have bigger ambitions now.

Today, we're more than just a rehearsal space. Our journey continues as we become a category brand, leading the integration of IoT technology into our studios, to provide an immersive and fully interactive personalised experience. Enabling musicians and their fans to connect in ways that will change the direction of content creation resulting in cross-pollination and ultimately a thriving community like never seen before. We are helping musicians become the future of music, worldwide.
