REALTIME is on the lookout for an experienced Virtual Production Supervisor!

This is a multi-disciplinary and creative position, overseeing Virtual Production work across Episodic and Games. As a key point of contact, the Virtual Production Supervisor will be responsible for creating and delivering bespoke workflows to solve creative challenges for our clients, including collaborating directly with Directors, DPs, Production Designers, and Production Executives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon our recent Virtual Production successes and push forward the development of our Virtual Production pipeline. The ideal candidate will be excited by the prospect of this long-term role, driving the growth of the Virtual Production team whilst also enjoying the hands-on challenge of seeking solutions to complex technical problems for immediate project requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Designing solutions for a diverse range of projects using Virtual Production tools like Previs, MoCap, Camera Tracking, Green Screen, Live Compositing, VCam shoots, ICVFX, and more!
Supervising pre-production and on-set crews across the lifespan of a project, working closely with our VFX Supervisors to ensure smooth transitions into post-production
Working closely with the client and key creative teams to ensure, clear communication, timely delivery, and overcome unforeseen complexities
Planning and executing tests for potential projects and proof of concept ideas to clients
Contributing to the bidding stage by breaking down project requirements and solutions to help win the work
Working with pipeline and engineering teams to develop project-specific tools and advise on necessary hardware for the execution of workflows
Working closely with Heads of Departments and Pipeline Team to support long term plans for pipeline development
Helping to identify skills gaps in the team and to support with recruitment of new hires and any required upskilling
REQUIREMENTS

Accomplished examples of delivering Virtual Production shows, utilizing a range of Virtual Production tools
Advanced and hands-on knowledge of Unreal Engine including world building, sequencer, blueprints, Virtual Camera, optimization, lighting, and rendering
Good generalist knowledge/ technical understanding of DCC software like Maya, Houdini, Zbrush etc., and workflows in and out of UE
Previous experience in leadership roles with the ability to communicate effectively across the VP team and other departments within the company
Good knowledge of practical lighting on-set, and other on-set workflows and hardware
Good experience on client-facing projects, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and find innovative solutions
The ability to see the bigger picture, whilst also delving into the fine details when required
