Location: This role is based in The Quadrant:MK. This role is a full-time opportunity, flexible working patterns will be considered. For Quadrant:MK, you must live within 90 minutes. Please note, you may be required to stay away from home for up to four nights a week.

Brief Description
We are looking for a Videographer for a permanent position (full time) based in Milton Keynes. You will implement the delivery of corporate film and video production activity through the effective use of camera, lighting, sound and editing equipment, using the latest techniques in digital content production to deliver audiovisual content aligned with Network Rail's communications strategy. Our content is distributed across multiple digital channels, with a primary focus on our social media platforms, ensuring maximum reach and engagement. The ideal candidate will be quick and flexible, able to turn projects around rapidly, and dynamic in their approach to ensure high-quality results under tight deadlines. You'll have the ability to create a wide variety of content tailored for different social media platforms and other digital delivery channels.

Are you a skilled videographer looking for your next challenge? Join our Social and Digital team at Network Rail and play a vital role in creating impactful video content. In this role, you'll plan, film, and edit digital video for major campaigns and evergreen communications, using the latest production techniques and equipment to deliver high-quality audiovisual content. You'll ensure all outputs meet Network Rail's brand and accessibility standards, while collaborating with internal stakeholders and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Our content is delivered across a range of digital platforms, with our primary channels being social media accounts, so you'll create engaging, platform-specific content that resonates with diverse audiences. Creativity is key as you apply innovative solutions and current trends to produce compelling content for social and other digital channels. You'll also maintain secure, compliant records for business needs and future archiving.



Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a talented videographer with proven experience in shooting and editing digital video content for major brands or institutions. You'll bring strong technical skills in single-camera operations, lighting, sound, and editing, alongside expertise in data management and GDPR compliance. The role requires creativity in tailoring content for social media, knowledge of accessibility standards, and proficiency with tools such as Adobe Suite and DaVinci Resolve. You'll manage multiple projects, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and demonstrate excellent time management and interpersonal skills to deliver high-quality, engaging video content.



Essential Criteria

· Demonstrable experience in shooting and editing digital video content, ideally for a major brand, institution, or government department.

· Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in single camera operations, digital data wrangling and editing whilst backing up any data throughout the process in compliance with GDPR.

· Experienced in self-shooting equipment setups and exhibits strong proficiency in lighting and sound techniques to maintain high-quality video production.

· A proven track record of implementing the latest digital accessibility practices to maintain compliance and enhance user experience for our primary audiences and internal stakeholders.

· A proven knowledge of tailoring video content to suit social media platforms, with a keen eye for detail and creativity, supported by specific examples.

· Experience in the film and video production process, including script development, production logistics, stakeholder liaison, on-site production, editing, supporting contributors' performance and delivery, with strong time management skills and a proven ability to manage internal stakeholders effectively.

· Ability to work effectively within a team, supporting larger creative projects by collating relevant information, implementing cost efficiencies, and reporting progress and cost-saving measures to management.

· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while effectively using digital project management tools to document and track progress.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated by successfully resolving conflicts, fostering collaboration, and maintaining positive relationships within the team, as evidenced by examples of repeat work and ongoing successful partnerships.

· Experience in the application of IT, film and digital processing programs, with expertise in using applications such as the Adobe Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Shotput, Excel, and Word.

· Full UK drivers licence.
