Videographer & Editor

London

The role focuses on editing content for Happy Mum Happy Baby across the podcast and social platforms, including YouTube. Working closely with the Senior Social Media Manager and our content production team, you will create a consistent stream of highly engaging video content that appeals to our global audience, having the creative freedom to bring new ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities
Edit video footage, sync audio, and create compelling social cutdowns for the Happy Mum Happy Baby Podcast.
Work directly with talent and the social media team to develop and trial new social formats-be that video or graphics.
Repurpose archive content from past episodes in a timely manner in line with public sentiment, news, and current affairs.
Edit videos to target length and specifications.
Handle and organise raw video files.
Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
Contribute to editorial creative sessions, bringing relevant research.
Develop new ideas and creative ways to connect with audiences across all of our existing and emerging social platforms.
Keep track of trends across platforms.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximise efficiency.
Maintain regular content for the Happy Mum Happy Baby YouTube channel.

Our ideal person
Knowledge of the space Happy Mum Happy Baby operates in.
Proven work experience as a Video Editor creating social videos (for a social media channel, brand, or linear television productions) or equivalent experience in the creative field.
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut).
Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
Creative mind and storytelling skills.
A great eye for detail.
Time-management skills.
