Videographer/Designer (Branded Content)

London

Video Editor & Designer

Liberum, London's most innovative investment bank, seeks a Video Editor & Designer to shoot, edit and publish eye-catching videos for equity research as well as lead the creation of striking and powerful design across the business.

Video is now an important tool to highlight our analysts' well-regarded insight and our corporate clients' thoughts about the companies they lead. We generate short, high-frequency videos that often feature animated graphics and we experiment in new video styles and track our audience's response to them. We shoot in our offices and off-site.

The role demands experience of single handedly arranging, lighting, shooting, editing and publishing video, as well as creating Motion graphics. The successful candidate will be very well organised and demonstrate initiative and diplomacy in this employee-owned business. We use Adobe Premiere and CC and Final Cut Pro X.

The position also oversees the implementation of a bold and fresh design (see more at http://www.bibliothequedesign.com/projects/branding/liberum-identity/) and sits with a six-strong Content team to help create striking covers, infographics and templates for presentations, pitch documents and research.

This design can be found in email, MS Office and HTML/CSS templates and familiarity with these is a must.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Content, the Head of Research Production and an experienced Content team that packages and distributes investment research via e-mail, on tablet, phone and desktop platforms, in traditional print and PDF formats and via third-party distributors such as Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters.

In 2015 Liberum will begin distributing research via a cloud-based platform that allows interactivity and will feature video and infographics. Most of this will be generated by the Content team.

The role is a permanent position.
