Videographer and Editor

Manchester

Are you ready to be part of seriously disrupting a market?

We're a marketing driven business that's passionate about content. We've almost doubled our YouTube audience over the past 12 months and have cemented video into almost everything we do and we want to do more! We're looking for a top notch Video Producer with epic editing skills to join us for the next exciting growth phase and help us increase our output.

You'll have a proven track record of creating slick, highly engaging video content and have a keen eye for detail. As a natural born creative who thrives on delivering the goods, you'll love to keep busy and have the ability to spot golden moments of opportunities to film.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Marketing is the driving force behind Property Hub. You'll inherit an audience, tens of thousands strong, eager to consume everything we do. This is a fast-paced and multi-skilled role. On a typical day, you might be:

Creating and evaluating briefs, looking for opportunities to add value to them
Producing creative storyboards and shot lists
Creating and managing shooting schedules, organising logistics and appropriate sites
On location shooting behind the scenes footage of upcoming developments
Creating engaging content for use across our channels including face to camera filming
Editing and re-editing footage to meet the required brief
Creating snippets of our internal culture
Liaising with the wider marketing team to ensure delivery of concepts are on track to meet deadlines and that content produced is in-line with the overall strategy
Experimenting with different styles of footage
Liaising with external motion designers to nail the final product
Helping to nurture team members with a keen interest in video production
WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING FOR...

We're a fast growing, dynamic group of property related businesses and we take content marketing to the extreme. Our podcast has over 300,000 monthly listeners and has cemented itself as the UK's most popular business podcast. Our online community is ever-growing and we're publishers of a bi-monthly magazine.

We've also written a number of best-selling books, with more on the way. Our YouTube channel has amassed over 23k subscribers and now we need you to be a BIG part of our journey. We're set to disrupt the property market massively over the next 12 months and we're bolstering our team to help us achieve our huge ambitions. We're Manchester city centre based just a 3 minute walk from Piccadilly train station and we've got quite possibly the most awesome and ambitious team you're ever likely to meet. You can expect a team culture like no other, along with plenty of eating out and lots of cuddles from our four legged furry friends who regularly make an appearance at the office.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We've got the kit so we just need you to be the best at what you do. We love passionate people, so you need to love video as much as we do.

You'll be a master in your craft with a thorough understanding of Premiere Pro and a great grasp of the Adobe Creative Suite. You'll know your way around DSLR cameras, lenses, sound equipment and lighting kits, and be unflappable under pressure. We put out a dizzying amount of content and our schedules are hectic, so you'll need to ensure that briefs are tight and deadlines are met.

Your portfolio will demonstrate your talent and have a wide range of video styles to showcase this. And if you have any campaign stats to share with us, even better! This role is based out of our Manchester office and you'll be fully embedded into our team there. So as awesome as we think freelancers are, it won't work with this vacancy on this occasion.

SOUND LIKE YOU?

If this sounds like your dream job and you meet all the requirements we're looking for (and more), we want to hear from you. Please do make sure you attach your showreel to give you a chance to showcase your talent!

IN RETURN

We are passionate about open and honest communication, and are upfront about our reward package:

Salary up to £35,000 (depending on experience)
Private healthcare
27 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
Pension provided by the People's Pension
Annual Holiday Flex Scheme
Cycle to Work Scheme
2 charity days per year and an annual contribution to a charity of your choice
City-centre office at the heart of Piccadilly, 3 minutes' walk from the train station
Fluffy friends in the office
Beer fridge in the office
Lively working environment, with regular social events
