Videographer and Editor

London

Ignite Growth is a digital marketing agency that specialises in attracting patients to dental, medical and aesthetics clinics through full-funnel marketing. Established in 2017, we've worked with over 500+ clinics across the UK and have generated over £25m+ in treatment revenue.

We like to think we're pretty good at what we do - but getting high-quality, original and platform-appropriate content from clinics isn't always easy! Though, it is essential to help clinics stand out and help them get a good ROI on their campaigns with us.

The majority of our work stems across Facebook, Instagram and Google ads and we are expanding this to include YouTube and TikTok ads in 2024.

So - content will become more important than ever for Ignite and our clients!

Having completed a series of "pilot" video shoots with freelancers, we're now looking for a full-time, in-house videographer & content creator to join our growing team. You'll be working closely with our account management, campaign management, marketing and customer success teams to capture and deliver jaw-dropping content to our clients.

You will also be working closely with our CEO & founder to help develop the Ignite brand. Because we specialise in paid ads, we love data but tend to lack a little on the creative side.

So - we're really looking for someone to come in and give us that creative edge!

Responsibilities:

Running self-directed shoots on-site with dental, medical and aesthetics clinics across the UK - which includes capturing talking head videos, clinic tours, testimonial videos, b-roll and more.
Capturing behind-the-scenes, "street interview" or "documentary style" footage at clinics, trade shows, whilst on the road as well as internally with colleagues - to power our social media channels.
Working closely with our account managers to make sure that clients are briefed before their shoots and that we prioritise editing & delivery timelines accordingly.
Collaborating with our social media manager to capture, create and deliver content to support our social media strategy.
Working closely with our campaign management team to ensure our content is continuously improving our ad campaign conversion rates.
Supporting our internal team communications with employee content creation and video capture for employee engagement.
Keeping an eye on trends and bringing forward new ideas to help Ignite level up its video capabilities for its client as well as internally.
In the short term, developing an editing workflow by editing footage to create the final deliverables - until we hire and/or build out an offshore editing capability.
Longer term, managing an editor to make sure that our requirements, timeframes and standards are met on every single edit.
Making sure we continue to extract value from our raw footage by continuously repurposing it into social-first micro-content for us and our clients.
Establishing internal processes & systems for end-to-end video capture, editing, storage and repurposing/mining.

You are someone who is:

A self starter that is able to work independently, take initiative and bring forward new ideas and solutions.
Creative and understands the latest trends & ideas in digital content - and is able to help transpose them onto our business & industry with our input.
Highly-organised and structured in how they work, prioritise and manage their time.
Loves being on the road and in the field, running shoots for lots of different clients across the UK - valid driving licence and passport required.
Stays on top of trends and constantly brings forward new content ideas, styles or concepts - from inception to storyboarding and execution & delivery.
Familiar with the nuances of content capture/creation for different platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube etc.
Comfortable being the "face" of Ignite during shoots and working autonomously on-site with clients to capture engaging social-first content.
Patient, laid-back and disarming when it comes to putting clients at ease during shoots - to help get the most out of them!
Comfortable thinking on their feet and can manage "scope creep" politely and professionally during shoots.
Keen to grow, experiment and develop their skill-set as and when the role and department evolves.
A good communicator and gets along really well with their colleagues across the company - an all-round people person!
Comfortable on both sides of the camera - doesn't mind shooting the occasional BTS selfie video or value-first video content for colleagues or clients.
Experienced shooting across different platforms and knows all the key editing tools like the back of their hand.
As the first full-time videography hire, your remit will cover the full end-to-end process of video capture, creation and editing within Ignite.

This is a great opportunity for someone to "establish" the department by bringing in knowledge, systems and processes. As we grow, we'll look to expand the department to help us scale.

Whether that means bringing in more team members or working with selected third parties, we'll look to you to help us shape our strategy!

As the team is almost entirely remote, the ideal candidate has the majority of their own gear which can be supplemented as required.
